About Us

My name is George and I with my partner Carolyn run Paws & More. I am originally from the London area and am an ex secondary school teacher, I have taught art and in that time led my own department for 14 years.
I have decided the time is right to follow my passion for animals and leave teaching to become a full time pet care provider. I have been walking dogs professionally for a few months and although I am new to the business side of things I have had dogs, cats and fish all of my life. I have been employed as a dog walker and have references available on request. I am currently studying for a diploma in animal psychology, specialising in dogs mainly, but including small animals.
We are fully insured and have an advanced disclosure CRB. We hold up to date canine and pet first aid certificates and have completed practical courses and demonstrated our skills on a practical level. We have 4 dogs, 6 cats and a fish.
Our company is based on the belief that our customers' and their pets needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to providing a friendly, flexible pet service in the St Austell and surroundng areas.
We love animals of all shapes and sizes and we will treat your pets as if they were our own.
At Paws & More we take animal welfare seriously and have successfully fostered over 20 dogs and helped them go on to have happy lives with new owners.

We have introduced a training school run by Carolyn. Carolyn has successfully completed training courses with the institute of modern dog trainers and runs a range of classes to suit every owners needs. Carolyn is currently completing a diploma course in Animal Psychology.

I am passionate about giving dogs the best chances and believe in feeding dogs species appropriate diets, therefore I am studying for a diploma in animal nutrition.
